The ACT English test is 45 minutes long with 75 items. Grammar and Usage makes up 16% of the test, Sentence Structure is 24%, and Punctuation is 13%. The rest of the English test comes under the heading Rhetorical Skills. Strategy (Author’s purpose) makes up 16%, Organization (development, passage structure) is 15% and Style (word choice, tone) is 16%.

I have a proven lesson that I created that teaches the sentence structure and punctuation portions and covers about 30% of the items on the test. This is just one of the lessons your student will master in a 1.5 hour session with me.

We can do Skype and in-person sessions to help your student prepare for the June 4 SAT or the June 11 ACT. 985.234.9184 to learn more.ACT english
