I will be teaching two courses. Here is the information for the first. I will be offering this course on additional dates, but if you are ready to register for the June 1,2,3,4 class, here’s the information.

SUMMER COURSE 1:

Foundational Skills for the ACT | For 9th, 10th, and struggling 11th graders | Choose from 4 date options |$425 includes textbook. Location will be a private room in a convenient Covington or Mandeville location.

Option 1: June 1-4, 2020, 10:30 am- noon

Option 2: June 8-11, 2020, 10:30 am-noon

Option 3: June 29-July 2, 10:30 am-noon

Option 4: July 20-23, 10:30 am-noon

Foundational Skills for the ACT course focusing on content: While this course addresses strategies and test anxiety, it is focused on introducing/reviewing basic CONTENT skills tested on the Pre-ACT and ACT. Each class will have only 4 students.

Session 1 (1.5 hours): English content review. Comma rules, subject-verb agreement, conciseness, etc.

Session 2 (1.5 hours): Math rules & formulas review.

Session 3 (1.5 hours): Science concepts and formulas review. How to read charts and graphs.

Session 4 (1.5 hours): Reading and vocabulary strategies. How to read quickly. How to approach different item types in depth.
